Roscoff Culture Collection
The Roscoff Culture Collection (RCC) is one of two teams that make up the Marine Biological Resource Centre.
The RCC supplies strains of microorganisms (microalgae, bacteria, viruses, macroalgae) and culture media, and offers cryopreservation and microorganism identification services.
The Roscoff Culture Collection (RCC) maintains and distributes approximately 12000 strains of marine microalgae, macroalgae, protists, bacteria and viruses.
In addition to services offered for public and private laboratories, the RCC supports schools in carrying out practical work.
