Master's degree ‘biodiversity, ecology and evolution’

Two modules of the Master's degree in Universe, Environment and Ecology Sciences (SDUEE), specialising in ‘biodiversity, ecology and evolution’ at Sorbonne University, take place at the Roscoff Biological Station.

Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution

The Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution program offers advanced training on the dynamics of biodiversity and ecological systems, grounded in cutting-edge research. Students gain a deep understanding of the key principles of organization and classification of living organisms, the mechanisms behind the emergence, maintenance, and evolution of biodiversity, and the structure and functioning of communities and ecosystems. The program also explores the role of living organisms in addressing environmental challenges.

Graduates acquire the skills needed to pursue careers in scientific research or in industry sectors focused on ecosystem management and the sustainable use of biological resources.
