Master’s in SDUEE – Marine Sciences Specialization
The Marine Sciences specialization of the SDUEE Master’s program aims to provide students with a strong multidisciplinary foundation for understanding the marine environment.
Program Overview: This program trains highly qualified students in biological oceanography, marine ecology, and marine biogeochemistry, combining conceptual knowledge with hands-on methodological skills. Students benefit from access to world-class research laboratories and gain essential direct experience in the marine environment, preparing them for careers in research, environmental management, and marine sciences.

International Dimension
The “Oceanography and Marine Environments” specialization is part of the Erasmus-Mundus European Master’s program, “Master of Science in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation”, and involves six European universities that jointly award a degree: Ghent University (Belgium), University of Bremen (Germany), University of Algarve (Portugal), Pierre & Marie Curie University (France), University of Oviedo (Spain), and Klaipeda University (Lithuania).
The second-year courses (M2) are offered jointly to students of the “Oceanography and Marine Environments” Master’s program and the Erasmus-Mundus European Master’s students, and all courses are taught in English.
