Ecologie isotopique – Réseaux trophiques

Axes de recherche

Mon activité de recherche est axée sur le fonctionnement trophique des écosystèmes littoraux et côtiers.

Plus précisément, je me suis attaché à développer les axes de recherche suivant, sur la base du traçage isotopique naturel et enrichi :

  • Architecture et fonctionnement trophiques des communautés benthiques en zones littorales et côtières (milieux rocheux intertidaux, forêts de laminaires, zones portuaires, vasières intertidales, marais salés, estuaires,...) caractérisés par des situations écologiques contrastées
  • Propriétés des réseaux trophiques : stabilité temporelle, plasticité trophiques, connectivité, redondance diversité des voies de transfert
  • Suivis isotopiques à long terme des réseaux et des statuts trophiques en milieux meubles et rocheux
  • Expérimentations sur la base du marquage isotopique (13C, 15N) pour caractériser et quantifier les flux de matière associés aux interactions trophiques algues-invertébrés ou aux processus de dégradation de composés spécifiques (Alginates) via une utilisation conjointe des techniques isotopiques (EA-IRMS, DNA-SIP, NanoSIMS) et métagénomiques

Enseignant-chercheur à Sorbonne Université (ex UPMC) – Station Biologique de Roscoff depuis 1998

2005 : Habilitation à diriger des recherches, Sciences de la Vie et de la Santé, UPMC Ecologie Isotopique. Apports des isotopes stables du carbone et de l’azote à l’étude des réseaux trophiques littoraux et côtiers.

1995 : Doctorat de l'Université de Bordeaux I. Océanographie. Origine et devenir de la matière organique dans un écosystème estuarien à vocation conchylicole. Application du traçage isotopique naturel.

Contrat post-doctoral au “Marine Science Institute” (Texas) et Bourse Marie Curie - Training Mobility Research au NIOO-CEME (The Netherlands)
