The group Compared physiology of erythrocytes has organised the 20th meeting of the European Red Cell Society in Roscoff, between the 16th and the 20th of April.

83 participants, coming from all Europe and North America, attended to the meeting. 

The congress was organised in 6 sessions, dealing with erythropoiesis, red cell physio/pathophysology (malaria, sickle cell, anemias, ...), or cell aging and blood storage. 45 talks and 13 posters have been presented during this event.
