The European Union will launch soon a call for 2-year postdoctoral positions in laboratories specifically located in Brittany (France) and the Biological Station of Roscoff is one of the 8 laboratories eligible to this program (cf. https://lnkd.in/ebGp_UfN).
The call will be opened early december 2022 and will end on February 15th 2023.
Results will be in June 2023 and the contract could start between September and December 2023.
We are looking for any candidate(s), who might be interested in applying for a postdoctoral position in our laboratory to work on the functional diversity and species concept of marine and brackish picocyanobacteria using the numerous available genomes (WGS, SAGs, MAGS; https://lnkd.in/eCXZ3NeQ), transcriptomic and metaomic data, as well as the numerous strains of the Roscoff Culture Collection (https://lnkd.in/eAsCSQ-Z) for phenotyping.
Interested candidates should send us a CV, motivation letter and the names/emails of several reference contacts. To be eligible, candidates must have a PhD and must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies…) in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the call deadline.
