In addition to mooring systems on the seafloor, our research team has instrumented a cardinal buoy located in Roscoff area (Astan buoy). Two ferryboxes are also being exploited onboard the Armorique ferry and the Pont-Aven ferry, both belonging to the Brittany Ferries fleet.
All physico-chemical parameters collected on those buoys and ships of opportunity, such as seawater temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, etc. are sent to an online database.
