Ingénieure de recherche

Mon travail consiste à développer des méthodes pour améliorer génétiquement les algues marines et créer des variétés adaptées aux besoins industriels. Je combine culture d’algues, génétique et bioinformatique pour identifier les meilleures souches et comprendre ce qui fait leur potentiel. Ces approches nourrissent aussi des questions fondamentales sur les déterminismes génétiques de traits complexes comme la croissance, la composition biochimique ou la tolérance au stress. Entre les projets européens, les partenariats avec des producteurs et le développement d’outils pour la recherche, mon activité se situe à l’interface entre labo et terrain, recherche fondamentale et applications concrètes.
