The Phaeoexplorer project has generated annotated genome assemblies and transcriptome data for a broad range of brown algal species to address a number of key questions about the biology and evolutionary history of this poorly characterised but important group of marine eukaryotes.
The brown algal genome assemblies generated by the Phaeoexplorer project can be accessed through the Phaeoexplorer website, together with comprehensive data for all other publicly-available brown algal genomes.
