Actuellement doctorant à la station biologique de Roscoff au sein des équipes ECOMAP et EDYMAR. Mon projet de thèse porte sur la caractérisation des infection à Perkinsus olseni chez la palourde japonaise Ruditapes philippinarum, ce aussi bien du point de vue de la diversité génétique que fonctionnel. Je m’intéresse donc à la diversité génétique du parasite P. olseni  provenant de différents sites le long des côtes européennes (rade de Brest, bassin d’Arcachon et baie de Venise). Je m’intéresse également à l’impact que ces infections peuvent avoir sur la physiologie ainsi que le comportement (bioturbateur) de son hôte.

I am currently a PhD student at the Roscoff Biological Station, working within the ECOMAP and EDYMAR teams. My PhD project focuses on characterising Perkinsus olseni infections in the Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum, from both a genetic and functional diversity perspective. I am therefore interested in the genetic diversity of the P. olseni parasite between different sites along the European coast (Bay of Brest, Arcachon Bay and the Bay of Venice). I am also interested in the impact these infections may have on the physiology and behaviour (bioturbation) of its host.
