Post-doctorant

My research interests mainly concern the mechanisms involved in the adaptation of marginal populations (populations at the edge of the species’ range distribution).
During my PhD, I took :

- an empirical approach on a species of kelp (Laminaria digitata) in order to explore how marginal populations are connected, how genetic diversity varies both spatially and temporally...etc.;
- a theoretical approach which mostly focused on the evolution of sexual and/or asexual reproduction within a specie’s range distribution (geographic parthenogenesis), or during range expansion etc.
