The crystallogenesis department is equipped with the nanogout crystallization robot, it is the Crystal Gryphon nano-drop multi-distribution robot. This robot makes it possible to test 96 crystallization conditions by the seating drop vapor diffusion method. The protein tips can dispenses from 50 to 100 nL of protein, which makes it possible to test a maximum of crystallization condition with a minimum of sample.
The crystallogenesis department also equipped with a CrysCamTM Digital Microscope System automatic camera allowing a better follow-up of the screenings.
The laboratory has two refrigerated chambers one at 4 ° C and the other at 12 ° C.
