I am a senior scientist specialized in the ecology, evolution and comparative physiology of marine picocyanobacteria. I am particularly interested in studying their light-harvesting complexes, and elucidating the molecular bases of their vast pigment diversity, notably of chromatic acclimaters that can modify their pigment content to match the ambient light color. My activity also involves the expert curation databases dedicated to picocyanobacteria genomes, especially Cyanorak, an information system based on clusters of orthologous genes.
