Call for access to marine infrastructure
ASSEMBLE (Association of European marine biological laboratories) is an EU FP7 research infrastructure initiative comprising a network of marine research stations. Access is provided to a comprehensive set of coastal marine ecosystems, to research vessels, state-of-the-art experimental facilities and to a wide variety of marine organisms; either on-site or by shipment. On-site and remote access is available.
European scientists can apply for marine research projects for on-site and remote access to the ASSEMBLE infrastructure sites. Deadline September 15, 2009.

IRES program - International Research Experiences for Students
This International Research Experience for Students will provide US graduate students with opportunities to gain international research experience at the Station Biologique de Roscoff (SBR) in France, a research and training center in marine biology, oceanography, and marine genomics operated by the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and the Université Pierre et Marie Curie. Students interested in the program can apply for stays up to 6 months.
