Maître de conférences Sorbonne Université

Maître de conférences à l’Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI), en poste à la Station Biologique de Roscoff

Research interests:

My research focuses on the ecology and biodiversity of phytoplankton. It aims at better understanding the structure and dynamics of phytoplankton species and communities.

Key words : phytoplankton, Micromonas, cryptic species, virus-phytoplankton interactions, plankton time-series

Teaching activities:

My teaching activities are mostly in the domains of marine ecology and biodiversity. A rather large part focuses on taxonomy, systematics and ecology of macro and micro-algae (and includes laboratory and field work). I am responsible for the “Phycology summer course” (4UM52) that occurs each year at the Station Biologique de Roscoff in July.
