HOSTED RESEARCH
Introduction:
The Roscoff Biological Station has a long tradition of hosting scientists. Many visiting scientists come to the Roscoff to take advantage of its research infrastructure as part of their research project.
Paragraphs:
3 visitor laboratories for 2 to 4 people are available for visiting scientists.
1 lab dispose of running seawater, 2 others are dry labs
Equipment:
- Our laboratories are equipped for observation and molecular biology
- with microscope- stereomicroscope, common scientific material and consumables, refrigerator and a -20°C freezer.
- Use of materials common to all research laboratories (-70°C freezers, liquid nitrogen, glassware, MilliQ water, spectrophotometer, autoclave, etc.) is possible upon request.

- access to the microalgae culture collection (Roscoff Culture Collection)
- access to technological platforms : bioinformatics, genomics, mass spectrometry, crystallography
- accommodation and catering
