Scientific interests

My thesis project aims at studying the diversity of symbioses between cyanobacteria and other organisms in the marine plankton. Cyanobacteria are indeed often found in association with protists, with diverse characteristics (permanent or temporary association, generalist or specific...). To do so, I am using data from the Tara-Oceans expeditions to identify potential symbioses, as well as to define the impact of the environment in their emergence and their frequency.
